The Aurora Aluminium Roller door is beautifully designed to give off a modern look whilst securing your shopfront or venue. The shutter is 41mm thick and able to keep out some of the wildest weather and people. Suiting openings up to 4.0m high and up to 6.0 metres wide in a single span (maximum 15m˛).
The Aurora 41mm Aluminium Roller Shutter is suitable for the following commercial applications: Security Car Parks, Shopping Centres, Arcades, Sporting Complexes, Clubs, Bars and counter tops.
The Aurora curtain is constructed from 41mm x 1.6mm thick extruded aluminium. Both ends of the Aluminium slat are fitted with specially shaped nylon-moulded end clips to reduce friction during operation and prevent lateral movement within the guides.
The Aurora aluminium curtain has aluminium slats available in 95mm x 25mm @ 70mm spacings and the option of clear polycarbonate infills - fitted to reduce dust and add visibility where ventilation is not required.
Are 50mm x 30mm Aluminium extrusions which can be fitted with a rubber twin fin extrusion or mohair felt buffer for quieter operation.
Can be fitted to all doors. Locking is centrally mounted within the Bottom Rail.
LOCKING IS NOT RECOMMENDED WHERE DOORS ARE MOTORISED
The Aurora can be either manually operated by hand or electrically operated. There is a wide range of control methods available with motorized doors and these can be discussed with the supplier when determining your requirements
Locking for Aurora doors is centrally located on the bottom rail of the door. Locking mechanisms are not recommended for those doors that are motorized.
A fabricated spiral ducted tube or spiral welded tube depending on operation is used as the roller drum for these doors. The assembly rotates on steel shaft fitted with helical springs to counterbalance the weight of the doors throughout the operation cycle. Complimenting an easy on the eyes design by making it easy to lift.
The Aurora 41mm Aluminium shutter can be motorized with the use of a centrally mounted drum motor in low use areas. Contact us for more details.

The Aurora 41mm Aluminium Roller Shutter is supplied standard in a Clear Anodised finish (Matte Natural), but can be powder coated as an option (Price available on request).
