The Phoenix 12mm Roller Grille creates more flexibility in shopfront doors and shutters. Designed to suit openings up to 4.0m high and up to 5.0 metres wide in a single span, the Phoenix as supplied by Prestige Doors is the product of choice for areas where a high air flow is required:

Curtain
The Phoenix curtain is constructed from 12mm extruded aluminium tube at 47mm centres, connected with 100mm x 10mm Specially designed clear polycarbonate links spaced at 440mm centres forming a brick like pattern.
Side Guides
Are 50mm x 30mm Aluminium extrusions which can be fitted with a rubber twin fin extrusion or mohair felt buffer for quieter operation.
Locking
Can be fitted to all doors. Locking is centrally mounted within either the mid rail or the Bottom Rail.
LOCKING IS NOT RECOMMENDED WHERE DOORS ARE MOTORISED
Operation
The Phoenix can be either manually operated by hand or electrically operated. There is a wide range of control methods available with motorized doors and these can be discussed with the supplier when determining your requirements.
Roller Drum
Is fabricated from 148mm spiral ducted tube or 229mm spiral welded tube depending on operation. The assembly rotates on a 34mm steel shaft which is fitted with helical springs designerd to counterbalance the weight of the doors throughout the doors operation cycle. These springs are designed to achieve a door which is easy to lift.
Motorisation Methods
The “Phoenix” 12mm Grille can be motorized with the use of a centrally mounted drum motor in low use areas. Drum size is dependant on method of operation and size of opening. Consult manufacturer for actual details
Size
The Phoenix 12mm Roller Grille is suitable for openings up to 5mtrs wide x 4 mtrs high.
Finish
The Phoenix 12mm Roller Grilles is supplied standard in a Clear Anodised finish (Matt Natural), but can be powder coated as an option (Price available on request).
